Artist puts “flying carpet” in airport

Iranian artist Seyed Alavi created a 50 metre long carpet for a pedestrian walkway in the Sacramento Airport imprinted with aerial imagery of the region â€” a modern take on the â€œflying carpet.â€ Alaviâ€™s carpet was created by Ulster Carpets, using imagery provided by the Geographical Information Center at Cal State Chico.Read full story
