CHI conferences are organised by ACM SIGCHI, the ACM‘s Special Interest Group on Computer-Human Interaction, which brings together people working on the design, evaluation, implementation, and study of interactive computing systems for human use.
The yearly CHI conferences are the premier international meeting place for human-computer interaction. The next edition, CHI 2006, will take place in Montreal, Canada on April 22-27, 2006. A call for participation has just been posted. Submissions are organised around CHI’s six communities, one of which focuses on design processes for creating user experiences.
