The new report Africa: The Impact of Mobile Phones, developed as part of Vodafone’s on-going programme on the socio-economic impact of mobile phones, explores the link between mobile subscriptions and per capita GDP growth, Foreign Direct Investment and life satisfaction.
Vodafone has also been looking more generally at the social impacts of mobiles, and how they help to bring greater efficiencies for business and add value to the economy.
